Glossary of Terms: Armory with which new Society armory may not conflict. This includes armory that has been registered in the Society, as well as armory from outside the Society which is deemed important enough to protect. All protected armory is published in the Society Armorial and Ordinary, but is protected as soon it is so identified, and does not wait until the next publication of the Society Armorial and Ordinary to be protected. The Armorial and Ordinary is available from Free Trumpet Press West and, unofficially, via various web sites linked from the Laurel web page. The list of protected armory from outside the Society may be modified to add or remove entries as further research directs. Protected armory is described in the Administrative Handbook, part III.B.
