There is a mention of "Vilna", which modernly is called Vilnius, in Richard Hakluyt's "Principal Navigations" - @http://ebooks.adelaide.edu.au/h/hakluyt/voyages/v05/chapter71.html See also @http://fulltextarchive.com/page/The-Principal-Navigations-Voyages-Traffiquesx52282/ "Ciuitas quoque vocatur [Marginal note: Alias Vilna] Will in cujus castellum Rex de Lettowe nomine Skirgalle confugerat, potenti virtute dicti Comitis maxime atque suorum capta est." "The Citie also which is called Wil or Vilna, into the castle whereof the king of Lettow named Skirgalle fled for his sauegard, was, by the valour of the sayd Earle especially and of his followers, surprised and taken.

There is a map of the city from Braun & Hogenberg's Atlas of 1581. All the captions in that work are in Latin. The one for that map is "Vilna Litvaniae", for what that's worth. The url is @http://historic-cities.huji.ac.il/lithuania/vilnius/maps/braun_hogenberg_III_59_b.jpg.

Dated Latinized names - eg. <Andreas de Vilna> or <Andreas Vilnensis>, though the evidence strongly suggests a patronymic since these are all in the form <{given} {father's name genitive} {locative}>. Collected by Christie Ward:
