Precedents:[edit | edit source]

From the October 2011 LoAR: #46Tilmann Glückhaft. Gules, in fess a dragon contourny and an apple Or. Per the Nov 2010 LoAR, the trapezoidal-shaped apple depicted here is a modern variety, and is a step from period practice. Apples depicted in period are nearly round. [[3]]

From the June 2007 LoAR: #95Anna de Apperleye. Name and device. Sable, on a chief Or three apples gules slipped vert.
