[[File:143px-Calontir-l.png|left]]</span>On <span style="color: #000000; font-family: sans-serif;">February 29, 1984 (AS XVIII), Calontir became the tenth kingdom of the SCA. 

Calontir holds lands in Kansas, Missouri, most of Nebraska, most of Iowa, and the Fayetteville area of Arkansas. </span>

Calontir is Welsh for 'Heartland,' since that area of the USA is commonly known as the 'heartland.'</span>
