Definition:

  • (includes defaults, proper tinctures, blazoning)

May 2000: no charges overlapping vêtu

The chaussé line of division, along with chapé and vêtu , are different from other lines of divisions in that the outer portions never contained charges in period. Thus we can also not allow charges that overlap the outer portions. http://www.sca.org/heraldry/loar/2000/05/00-05lar.html

March 1998: no charges on vêtu

It cannot be as it was blazoned, as we do not charge vêtu, chapé or chaussé. http://www.sca.org/heraldry/loar/1998/03/lar.html
