Olander might also come from the Åland islands vs. Öland Island. The Å (A with a little o on top) is pronounced very similarly to Ö to non-Swedish speakers. <Å> is pronounced like the <o> in <fore>, IPA o:/ ɔ . <Ö> is like the <eu> in the French <deux>, IPA ø/œ .
